In 2025, Hamstad AS began delivering BMS system from Zaphire.
Zaphire is a user-friendly system for both end customers and system integrators, while also being efficient to implement. It offers a high level of uptime and operational reliability based on a cloud-based platform with robust and up-to-date security routines. This makes it a strong fit for Hamstad AS’ quality-assured and user-friendly deliveries.
Hamstad AS tested Zaphire in the fourth quarter of 2025 and implemented the solution in early 2026 at several of Bane NOR’s stations in Eastern Norway, including Eidsvoll and Moelv, with very positive results. In the coming months, the system will also be implemented in Hamar and Lillehammer.
With this solution, Bane NOR has gained full control over the management of heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, and solar shading. This ensures that the stations operate optimally at all times, while keeping energy consumption at the lowest possible level.
Hamstad AS is also in the process of implementing the solution for several private and public property owners, with portfolios ranging from single buildings to larger property portfolios.
With Zaphire’s BMS solution, Hamstad AS and their customers gain access to control, automation, and alerts from any device — mobile, tablet, or PC.
The solution includes hierarchical alarms and integration with weather data, making it easier to prevent and manage deviations in commercial buildings, regardless of where the user is located.
Zaphire provides a user-friendly system both for us as a system integrator and for our end customers. We see a significant reduction in engineering time compared to previously, and we find that we can offer a better product at a lower total cost.
