Seamless integration and holistic management

Zaphire EMS integrates seamlessly with both Building Management Systems (BMS) and third-party applications, giving you a centralized platform for managing and analyzing all energy-related consumption in the building.

Zaphire Cloud-Based EMS

Zaphire EMS integrates effortlessly with BMS and third-party apps, delivering a unified and efficient way to manage building energy use across lighting, indoor climate, and other technical installations.

With a comprehensive overview, it becomes easier to identify opportunities for improvement, align systems, and create more efficient operations. The result is a smarter everyday life for building owners, property managers, and operations managers alike.

Insights that create value

With detailed energy reports, building owners and property managers gain a solid foundation for decision-making that provides control and predictability. The reports not only offer an overview of consumption but also include analyses that reveal patterns, areas for improvement, and hidden cost drivers.

By automating processes and optimizing operations, organizations can significantly reduce energy use while freeing up resources. This leads to lower costs, better utilization of building capacity, and more sustainable operations.

Scalable Energy Management

Zaphire EMS adapts to buildings of all sizes, making it a flexible solution for all types of properties.

The system supports industry standards such as BACnet and Modbus TCP, among others, through integration with Zaphire BMS. This enables flexible and scalable integration without the need to replace existing equipment.

Zaphire EMS also allows devices to be connected directly to the system via APIs.

Energy Consumption Visualization

Zaphire Energy Management gives you full control over your building’s energy consumption. The system collects data from all technical installations, including heating, ventilation, cooling, and lighting, and presents it in a clear and modern interface.

Through dynamic graphs and dashboards, you can monitor and compare energy consumption hour by hour, quickly identifying deviations, leaks, or inefficient operation. The system transforms raw data into meaningful analysis, providing deep insight into consumption patterns and trends. You can easily compare buildings, set energy performance targets, and document the impact of implemented measures over time.

Full Control with Flexible Energy Meters

The system lets you collect and structure energy data through flexible meters. A meter retrieves values from a selected source, such as Zaphire BMS, Elhub, or manually imported data. You can also set up virtual meters or grouped meters to provide a complete overview of consumption.

Meters are easily organized per building in a clear tree view and can be configured with the correct data fields, names, colors, location, and an associated temperature meter. This enables more accurate dashboards and makes it possible to activate Energy-Temperature (ET) graphs, allowing energy usage to be analyzed against temperature and expected values.

FAQ

Zaphire EMS is a cloud-based Energy Management System (EMS) that monitors, analyzes, and visualizes energy consumption in buildings and properties.

Zaphire EMS receives data from energy meters, sensors, and technical systems via open protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and REST API. The data is securely processed and stored in the cloud before being visualized in dashboards and reports.

You gain an overview of electricity, heating, cooling, water, temperature, and other energy carriers, allowing you to analyze consumption, identify deviations, and document results over time.

Yes. Zaphire is built on Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), with encrypted communication (TLS 1.2/1.3) and storage in Microsoft Azure’s Norwegian data centers. The system features full access control, event traceability, and automatic security updates. This ensures that all energy data is protected in accordance with GDPR and national information security requirements. We are constantly reviewing our security policy to align with ISO 27001, NIS2 and other directives to ensure maximum safety.

Yes. Zaphire EMS is scalable and adaptable to everything from a single device, single building to large property portfolios. The system is used in commercial buildings, municipal facilities, schools, hospitals, and industrial properties, and can integrate with existing SCADA or BMS systems.

You can get started with Zaphire EMS quickly. The system is deployed directly in the cloud, and energy meters are connected via open protocols or Elhub. The Zaphire team assists with configuration, customization, and training, giving you a ready-to-use dashboard with real-time data from day one.

Zaphire EMS is a tool for statistics, history, and analysis of energy data. Zaphire BMS (Building Management System) is a control system for technical installations such as ventilation, heating, cooling, and lighting.

Yes. Zaphire EOS supports open standards such as BACnet, Modbus TCP, and REST API, and can receive energy data from most meters and automation systems. This means you can collect data from different suppliers and buildings into a single system—without replacing existing equipment.

Zaphire EMS monitors energy data such as electricity, water, heating, cooling, and temperature. If the customer needs any other units to analyse, we are open to add additional units.

The system collects and analyzes information from meters and sensors, displaying trends in graphs and reports. You can easily track consumption, demand, and costs over time, as well as calculate the building’s total energy performance and carbon footprint.
